The Jubilate Singers is a Christchurch, New Zealand-based chamber choir of around 30 singers,
dedicated to a tradition of excellence in choral singing, and is well known for its innovative
programming. The choir presents 4-5 public concerts a year, often with orchestra,
featuring international and New Zealand music.

The Jubilate Singers was founded in 1977 by Martin Setchell – this year is therefore the
30th anniversary of the choir. The choir was directed subsequently for 18 years by
John Pattinson, with Grant Hutchinson succeeding him as music director in May 2006.
